Brief de Design Wordpress

Website Brief

We are looking to have a design produced for a modern professional website. A mind map of the site can be found here: http://www.mindomo.com/view.htm?m=72369909e665442a86e3a3dbbc2ee461

Each of the green tabs are pages just next to them is a very small green globe. If you click this. It will take you through to an example page for that section.

Task description
The website will be made up of:
1. A homepage (this will be the blog see http://www.marieforleo.com for an example of the crisp and cleanness we are looking for)
2. A page that will have just a video and option page (see: http://rhhbschool.com/ for example)
3. 3 pages all with the same structure. (see: http://rhhbschool.com/fk38dfj48fjk/ for an example). Each will have:
a. A video
b. Tabs at the top of the video that link to the 3 videos and the sales page
c. Link to a resource download
d. Facebook Comments section
4. 2 Page with about the experts and about our company (same style for both)
5. A page that will have a long well designed sales page (see: http://rhhbschool.com/early-enrollment-2013/ for an example)
6. A page with testimonials on it (see http://www.marieforleo.com/praise/)
7. A page that will describe the products, services and provision we will be offering
8. A page that will detail our involvement with charities and not for profits


Must Have
Edgey, crisp design, similar to Maria Forleos. We would like the colours to match very well throughout the site and have a unique font (possibly manksans). We want it to have very clean integrations between copy and images with shadows on videos for example like with Marieforleos page. We really love this design and would like this to be the inspiration for our site however it would need to certainly have a more executive feel to suit our target market.

We like the idea of some kind of circles, crisp clean lines, nice white space, simple design, corporate looking, communicates wealth/success/massive value. Based on the two logos of WBECS and the Hub (see attached)


Target Market:
The target market includes intelligent, productive coaches, who are self employed or part of small firms. They are well educated, well read, socially conscious, and committed to making a profound difference with their clients...skilled at the actions of coaching, but not the business side. There will be a ratio of approximately 60% male / 40% female (really? The coaching industry is predominantly female, no?), with an age range of 40 to 60 years. English is our core language. Most will have secondary education and the salary range will be $90,000 to $400,000. We will have a global audience reach, although the primary markets will be North America, Europe and Australia/NZ.

Marketing Objective:
ECH will be an on-line resource for Executive Coaches. The intent of the design will be to present ECH to the world as a highly professional organization. The intent is not to characterize ECH as solely corporate, but will also incorporate elements of entrepreneurialism. We require the brand to incorporate these values:
• Trustworthy – you can trust us
• Professional – we are true professionals whose mission is to provide value to our clients
• Caring - Interested in our clients wellbeing – we are keenly interested in helping our clients build their knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be highly productive and successful

• Knowledgeable – we have breadth and depth of knowledge in leadership
• World-class – we have a world-wide target market and, as such, need the brand to reflect a powerful and inclusive image
• Positive Energy - I would like the brand to have positive energy and very clean feng shui

Details about the needs, wants, aspirations etc. of our target market
Executive coaches need a process and a system for creating opportunities to do the work they love with clients who are qualified to engage them and pay them. There is a scarcity mentality around their own finances, but ironically an abundance mentality for what's possible in the world and for their clients. They want to make a difference, they want to facilitate transformation, they want to be of deep service.

They aspire to make a decent living doing it! They need help bridging the gap between practitioner/service provider and financially successful entrepreneur/business owner/ leader. They also aspire to have it be easy, as it feels hard for them to generate the revenues they want to generate solely through coaching, so many turn to training, speaking, and other revenue streams.
