I have no solid ideas about text, open to suggestions. Perhaps something along the lines of "Free online topo map using the official LINZ topo maps". Will give it some thought and get back to you.

I''m thinking of dropping the number of banners based on your feedback. Will give it some thought regarding which sizes are the most popular. Will update the brief once decided which ones to go for.

Must admit - was wondering about this myself. Was hoping it was 10 min job for some of the size adjustments where the shape stays basically the same. But I''m not a designer so may not realise how much additional work is involved. As a programmer I often get asked to do tweaks that either the user thinks are easy but will actually take a lot of effort, or visa-versa, the user wants something they think is hard but is actually a 5 min job. I guess design might be a bit like this too! :P

You are totaly right if we talk about static banners, its 2 min job. :-)
but you mention animated gifs.
If you need to reach some limit file size like 40kb (google ads) and still have good quality on anim. gif.
You might spend one hour and more, on just one size, just to reach perfect balans , betwin size and quality...
