Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a fun and friendly logo. The name of the company is "Nook Need" and we buy distressed homes for cash, flip houses for profit, and rent houses to families. We are located in sunny Florida! The clients we deal with could be going through a hard time so we need the logo to be warm and inviting with a web 2.0 feel. The requirements of the logo are as follows:

1. Company name should be present; "Nook Need".
2. Either a character or pictorial mark has to accompany the name.
3. Original art ONLY. Please no stock images for the logo.
4. Logo should be inviting and warm with a web 2.0 feel.
5. We are leaning towards a green and yellow color scheme however PLEASE feel free to use your own color scheme if it goes along with a great idea of yours. Help us create our identity!
6. We would like all Illustrator and PS files from the winner with the understanding that we own the art/logo created -- its our first time using Designcrowd so maybe that is standard?
