Brief de Design Graphique

We are an Australian family owned and made automotive lubricant company. We manufacture a range of products such as engine oils, gear and diff oils, automatic transmission fluids, hydraulic oils, small engine oils, brake fluid, marine oils, aerosols and specialty products. We produce the number one selling range of coolants and the top range of engine and fuel additives in Australia.

Our products are sold predominantly in automotive retail stores so we are up against brands such as Castrol, Valvoline etc.

We would like to see our aerosol labels redesigned to promote a more premium look and feel and work better with our new logo. Please try and stick to similar colours that are already on the current aerosol labels but just give it a re-fresh rather than a complete re-design – we dont want to alienate our customers who are familiar with our current aerosol range.

Font style can change however please keep it easy to read and remember with any graphics keep it clean and clear.

• The logo must be used in a predominant position on each of the labels. Be creative with your layout and design however please note that all of the text must be used on the label (see the attached ai file for label template design and word doc for wording).
  
  NOTE – ALL existing warning symbols must stay on the labels. You can move them around but please keep them the same size and colour that they are on the attached ai files.
  
  Please note that these labels are for our aerosol cans and will be wrapped around a can, not on flat packaging. Please keep this in mind when designing the labels – they will need a front and a back similar to how we have laid out our current labels (see attached ai label files).
  
  NOTE TO ALL DESIGNERS - ALL DESIGNS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED BY END OF DAY SUNDAY 26 NOV (AEST) A design will be chosen the following day and the winner will need to send the ai files to us asap.
