Brief de Web Design
Hello, I need a web design for a new oil and gas auditing consultancy business. My business undertakes contract audit assignments to review past costs of oil and gas operations (see attached Excel file for more details of the businesses services). I need the design to give the impression of a professional consultancy style of business, rather than a retail style of website. Note: this job is for LAYOUT DESIGN ONLY and not coding / development work.
The following are my key design principles:
1. BASIC DESIGN: I am after a simple and static web design. I don't want the pages busy or cluttered with too many images or detail.
2. HORIZONTAL TABS: I require a horizontal set of tabs towards the top of the screens (see Excel file) which remain in the same position on every page.
3. META TAG PLANNING: The design should allow for effective positioning of content so that key meta tag words can easily be built during the technical build stage.
4. NUMBER OF PAGES: The site will eventually have a maximum of 10 pages. Seven of the pages will reside under the tabs. Can you please present your opening submission for the first two page.
5. USE OF MY LOGO: The attached logo (JPEG file) should be used throughout the website. Please don't change the shape and colour.
6. COLOUR SCHEMES: Can you please consider any of the 3 colour schemes below:
A - dark red (to match the logo), light grey and perhaps another of your liking;
B - dark red (to match the logo), light cream and perhaps another of your liking;
C - dark red (to match the logo), white and perhaps another of your liking.
7. WORD CONTENT: I have attached an Excel file which shows the estimated word content for each page.
8. FUTURE USE OF DESIGN: I'm planning on building a Wordpress website. Can you please ensure the layout design supports this application.

Hello All,
I have simplified my brief and hopefully removed any ambiguity regarding the scope of the project.
For initial responses, I am after two pages only. However, once a designer is ultimately selected, I would ideally like the remainder of the pages then completed. This is a simple static design project and because my business is in a conservative market, the design concepts should not be difficult.
