Brief de Design de Logo

We need a contemporary design for our Church in Freshwater, NSW. We want to have a bold vibrant logo, that is easy to identify (most people don't know where the church is despite being near centre of the village) and reflects our (surfing) beach and community focus.
The predominant reason is for signage and awareness. And in conjunction with a new planned web site. We would like a logo that is strong, modern, warm and will serve us for the next 10 years. St marks is an Anglican church - seeking to let people in our community know and grow in the good news of Jesus.
