Hi Robin.

Great project! I am a industrial designer who can definitely help you with the concept and 3D design.

Question: To clarify, The tower charges and stores the 5 x GIZGO's.
Will the tower also store the 5 x charging pads?

Hi Ryan,

Impressive work you have done Ryan.

Question: To clarify, The tower charges and stores the 5 x GIZGO''s.
Will the tower also store the 5 x charging pads?

Yes the tower will charge and store 5 x GIZGO''s
The tower will have the option to charge up to 5 Charging pads and each charging pad should be able to slot in Horizontally though a track system like back in the old days when we stored CD''s in a rack. They will be then stored into the tower permanently. Restaurants will have the option to buy more towers as they purchase more GIZGO''s + 5.

Currently we are providing a starter pack which has 1 GIZGO, 1 Charging pad and a mains adapter.

Please contact me anytime, should you have any further queries or need more pictures to help with the design.
If also a small door can be designed to lock the GIZGO''s over night with a lock feature, that would be great.

kind regards
Robin Nagji - Inventor and product developer

Hi Robin.

Thanks for the compliment, we have indeed worked on many great projects!

To further clarify:
1. The charge station will house 5 x GIZGO and 5 x Pads.
2. Are the pads to further charge the GIZGO's when they are placed onto the table?

This is a fairly in-depth type of project and for me to commit.
If you guarantee the project I will commit to doing the design for you.

Thank you - Ryan

Hi Ryan

Thanks for your message.
To further clarify:
1. The charge station will house 5 x GIZGO and 5 x Pads.
Yes the Charge Station will house upto 5 x Gizgo''s and 5 x Charging Pads

2. Are the pads to further charge the GIZGO''s when they are placed onto the table?
No, they will remain in the Charging Station at all times once connected to the Mirco USB. The charging station charges the GIZGO''s overnight or during the day when not in use by the customer. Gizgo''s are offered to Customers by the waiter/waitress who wish to charge their Smartphones at the table.

I am willing to commit payment on this project which we elect when choosing the winning designer from the designers who participate in my project.
Is that acceptable?

Kind regards
Robin

Hi Robin, thanks for feedback.

If you are happy with my concept sketches will you make the job with guaranteed payment?

I can then proceed to create the 3D models and renders, how does this sound?

Also, would you require the STL files of the unit?

Thanks - Ryan

Hello! Please clarify what the deliverables for this projects are - Photorealistic renderings for presentation and concept, or actual CAD models for 3D print and manufacturing. Thank you!

Hi Robin,
1.: Do you need a few nice renders (pretty pictures) or do you need precise construction and assembly plans?

2.: Why do you limit yourself to 5 (x2) slots? Why not go for a stacking modular design? Seems to me that potential costumers might appreciate the flexibility.

3.: For the hull, do you want to use metal, plastic, or both? (Assuming metal is more expensive.)

4.: Do you want to integrate security measures into the unit? Technically you could and should put every slot under lock and key. This becomes even more complicated when you take into account that the charging units are supposed to be removable (or if you decide for a modular design). And maybe the whole thing should have a kensington lock or something like that?
