Help me logo designers, your my only hope. This is a chance to let loose! Help me give my emerging identity direction with an awesome logo. Please submit designs you would be proud to put on your portfolio.
Logo For: Claire McHardy . Photo-Video.Expert
Im looking for a logo to represent myself as a freelance cinematographer and photographer.
The winner of this will be first in line to create T-shirt, Business Card, E-Flyer and in future a car design.
Im really fun, creative, software savvy and have a pretty good eye for design, but i would like the designs for my personal company to be out of my hands :)
About me:
I am a freelance Cinematographer and Photographer in Dubai UAE.
I would like my logo to represent my professionalism. I would love a logo that represents that I am a strong independent cinematographer and photographer and perhaps the fact that I am a woman in the industry with such a vast experience.
The Logo:
Anything film and photography is welcome.
I am proud to be from Scotland so that could also factor into the design.
This is a logo that I would like to stick on the side of Cameras, the beginning of films, the side of cars and painted on walls. When people see me work, they see your logo and visit the website.
One group of designers: Think Military, think power, think smart, think grafiti, street art, coffe crate stamps. Aston martin meets the rainforest and loses.
And for the other group: Think simple, strait forward, elegant, cute, to the point, less is more. Professional
Please dont submit anything too childish, remember I am a profesional in my field and must convey that with a powerful logo. The logo can tell a story, or just say my name, but please put your design hats on and present quality work.

We are at the half way point so I would like to thank you all for the time and effort you have put in. It is so encouraging and energizing to receive your work.
This is really important to me and my future in the business.
A great logo speaks to people without you talking. Tells them everything you need them to know in that split second. Its so important.

The Designs being submitted are increasing in quality. This is a great thing. I will be contacting Design Crowd regarding the rules of offering a first second and 3rd place for this competition as some of the designers I. This competition truly deserve to be recognised and I would hate to loose out on selecting one design when another 2 could have easily made it.
Thanks for all your efforts so far. Hopefully this will make my life easier when it comes to the final selection.

A mix of Corporate and Private clients. I want them to feel a wow factor that I am in their company doing their job. I want them to feel like I am a brand name, a label, a product in my own right. My logo should be powerfull and eyecatching. My clients are corporate people who want to feel cool shooting a video for an hour.

- HAVE FUN! I would love something that feels as if it has been ilistrated. Like grungy cameras and equipment. Something that feels a bit rock and roll. Rugged, tough and profesional. Feel free to play with the Initials CMcH or PV.E or PVE. It would be great if the logo was completely integrated as one, like Harley Davidson so that I can be used as a stamp. See examples.
Ne doit pas comporter
- Nothing childish. Bubbly text. No obvious 2d cameras, or film reels unless they are cool grafiti, artistic or rustic. I don't like logos that wear hats unless it's a really cool hat.
