Brief de Design de Logo
Université André E. Laroche is a small university in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. We offer academic courses to earn a Bachelor's degree (Diplome or License here) as well as some vocation courses to earn a certificate. School was started originally in 1968 as a technical school of business (Accounting, Secretarial, etc). I want the design to have a feel of being an elite school that will turn out great leaders; an almost ivy-league-ish feel without actually being so in-your-face about it. Attached file shows the 2 logos currently associated with the school with the UAL being the more recent addition but I feel it comes across as to amateurish. The other is better, IMHO, but seems a bit dated and a little too cliche with the silhouette of the graduate in the middle. I want it to be striking and appealing to a young crowd here who is very concerned about perception.

For the initials, for those using in the design, can you please use UAEL instead of just UAL as in the current logo? Sorry, I should have mentioned that in the brief.
