Brief de Design de Logo

The name of the brewery is Babylon Brewery. The town were I live, Antibes France, is a big melting pot of English speaking cultures. I want the logo to try and emulate Babylon era symbol's (not the lion..) a column with a B on each side, but one "B" backwards so the backs are to the column in the middle, maybe a Hop cone somewhere in the middle on the column.. Or something like that.... I am open to new ideas as I have no idea about what looks good. For colors I would think beige or browns would be good to start with. I want to try and make the feeling of the cultures that spouted out from Babylon are coming back together in Antibes, over a beer!
Yes you can laugh at the file I uploaded... But some of the best ideas came from a napkin!!
