Brief de Design de Logo
We would like to update the logo for our business.
Cross Gates Family Fitness is a contempoary, upscale family health club. We want a logo that is somewhere between tradtional and modern. Not too boring, not too crazy. Easy to read, recognizable.
We do not want an overly athletic "tough" logo or varisty fonts.
We would like to incorporate a symbol that is "CG" and then have the Cross Gates Family Fitness Spelled out. Something like:
CG / Cross Gates Family Fitness (maybe even the family fitness stacked and the same height at Cross Gates)
The "CG" symbol could then be used as it's own form of branding on t-shirts, etc. around our club and community.
Incorporating current elements of our logo would be okay, though not necessary. For instance find a new font for Cross Gates and leaving the line with Family Fitness under, and the whoe thing flanked by the new CG symbol would work.
We are open to 2 color options (3 if you you added in black or white) for branding, but we frequently change the colors to match other marketing projects so color option isn't as imperative. But a unique combination could sway us to always keep our logo the same color.
Attached is a copy of our current logo. We like the layout of it and its simplicity. However this particular font can be difficult to read. And it is thin so it doesn't translate well for emboridering or from far away. It also doesn't show enough distinction between Cross Gates as 2 words.
Mises à jour
After looking at the initial batch of designs that have been submitted, we have decided that we would definitely prefer having a horizontal design. Several designers have submitted a symbol on top of our company name, we prefer a symbol and then our company name.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We have decided to make this a guaranteed project as well as extend our deadline. We like what have coming in but would still love to see what other designers have to offer. Our main priority is get a unique take on a CG symbol that we can use to identify our business. We want a symbol that is easily readable as a C and a G. We would then like to be able to put that symbol vertically with our business name, below the symbol or use the symbol solo.
