Brief de Design de Logo
EPS-Cineworks, a new company that combines the strengths of two existing companies, is looking to reflect their union through a new logo. Both companies have a long-established relationship in the film and television industries, and combined, provide a full set of services. These services include film dailies, editorial system rentals, service and support, as well as finishing for theatrical and broadcast television. The EPS-Cineworks customer base centers on large U.S. studios (e.g., Warner Bros, Sony, Paramount). The company has offices in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami, and Boston.
The new logo should reflect the company's attributes: forward thinking, innovative, nimble, and smart. The company's objectives could be described as digital, creative, and high end. We wish to avoid any reference or graphic associated with legacy formats (e.g., strip of film, film frame looks).
The logo must remain recognizable when scaled as it is to be used on the web site, on printed materials such as business cards and billing sheets, as well as on shirts, caps, and silk-screened on shipping cases and gear. There is no predetermined set of colors at this time. The name EPS-Cineworks can be part of the logo, but we are interested in seeing versions where the name can be added or not, as needed; the logo should be able to stand on its own solely by its graphic design.
We will accept files in EPS, Photoshop, TIFF, and formats that we can easily scale to size and retain quality. All entries must be the designer's original work. No clip art or other copyright material is allowed.

There has been some very interesting designs so far, but wanted to emphasis a bit more with the following information:
1. We would like to see some designs that can stand on their own graphically without the name of the company that is visually appealing to the customer. We can then add the name as needed. It does not have to be made up of the letters or names themselves.
2. In many cases, EPS seems to be the dominant name in the designs and I should have been more clear in my first brief that the enduring brand will be Cineworks. So while it should be equal for the most part, any emphasis needed should be on Cineworks, and not so much EPS.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We have received several excellent designs that are being considered. Because it is for two companies who have recently joined forces, the decision process is taking a little longer than anticipated.
