Brief de Design de Logo

I would like a logo that I can use on all marketing materials, including business cards, website, brochures, stationary, etc, for my new massage and yoga business in Corvallis, Oregon: Breathe Massage & Yoga.

My company mission is to integrate Western and Eastern approaches to healing to assist people in transforming their bodies, recovering from injury or illness, minimizing pain, and achieving greater relaxation and stress relief. I provide client-centered treatment plans in a warm, inviting and healing environment and make substantial changes in my clients' bodies that they can feel. Services will include Northern style Traditional Thai yoga massage and herbal compresses. I also hope to expand soon to teach yoga classes.

Breathe Massage & Yoga will offer both therapeutic and relaxation services, according to client needs and desires. Therapeutic treatment plans will include a full assessment of the client's posture and structural alignment as they relate to their complaint or condition. I will then work with the client to design an appropriate and feasible treatment plan and establish goals and ways to track them. I want my clients to feel empowered to understand and heal their own bodies, while I simply facilitate the process.
I intend to create a warm and inviting healing space where people receive quality services, develop tools to better care for their bodies and are eager to return to. I combine Western science and knowledge of the body, through the use of structural assessments and evaluations, with Eastern modes of treatment and movement to maintain and restore health. By constantly expanding my knowledge and skills, I can gain new tools for helping my clients and enriching my practice.

I created the name for my business based on the idea that breathing is the center of your health and well-being and by focusing on your breath you can calm your mind and center your body. The breath also seems to represent the intersection of Eastern and Western medicine and is a simple, tangible way to people to focus on meditation and well-being. To me, conscious breathing is the key to a healthy, fulfilled life, because it means you are living in the present moment.

WHAT IS THAI MASSAGE?
Traditional Thai yoga massage, believed to be around 2,500 years old, involves three basic components. First, compression of large muscle groups is applied in a slow, rhythmic fashion in a way that relieves muscle tension and relaxes the client. Second, acupressure is used along energy lines of the body, similar to Chinese medicine. Passive stretching is the third component, where the client is placed into yoga-type positions to lengthen muscles, relax the body, and relieve tension. This has given it the informal name of "lazy man/woman's massage" because it is a way to passively improve flexibility. Benefits are numerous, ranging from physical to emotional and spiritual. Specifically, it can improve circulation, relax sore and tight muscles, relieve stress and tension headaches, decrease pain, and increase energy, and others.
