Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for my new company Authentic8. It develops Smart Card based solutions for the construction, transportation, FM and other safety-critical sectors. The smartcards contain identity and skills and training information about the individual that can be checked onsite using a smartphone or a PC card reader that authenticates the individual and provides the supervisor with a level of assurance. The logo would be used initially on business cards, stationery and web presence. It is not intended to be a brand itself (ie the service solutions are individually branded). If possible, the logo should reflect the real time, paperless, convenience of the smart card based solution and make use of the potential of the the figure 8 being part of the name.
