Brief de Design de Logo
We are a manufacturer of AR15 and AR308 weapons. The company is located in Montana just outside Glacier National Park. Our brand is represented by the ruggedness of Montana and the technology associated with high quality cnc machining. Other companies in the industry have very identifiable logos that are branded very well (Magpul, Noveske, ect...) We are interested in having a very identity driven mark or logo that represents our brand. We are even open to changing the name of the company and doing a complete re-brand. The logo should have the potential to be identified alone with the brand we are trying to build. Color needs to be simple... no gradients. Layout cannot be super detailed as it needs to be able to be machined or engraved easily on gun parts. Less is more in this case. Our website is being worked on currently and is not a great source of the image we would like to portray although our current logo can be found there. We are looking for something that portrays the "modern west" or something that ties tactical firearms to the state of Montana. www.si-defense.com

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We have gotten several designs but have not gotten any yet that have really stood out. Some are better than others but we really want someone to submit something that sticks. We just changed our project to payment committed and with only a couple of days left on our original contest we wanted to give enough time to get more quality submissions.

Reason: We have had some great submissions but nothing has been close enough to decide. If we gave ideas or feedback it would pull away from the creative ideas the different designers may have. Keep in mind we are a gun company and the logo needs to be easily machined, easily identified, and could stand alone on a small part.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: still looking for something that stands out. We have got a lot of designs but nothing that stands apart. I would be interested to see something that would portray a "Tactical Montana" look. Montana is known for its cowboys and beautiful landscape.... I would like something that goes along the lines of the "modern west". Although some of the designs are great... we are still looking for a design that pops. the logo can be SI Defense or SI-D for text. Keep in mind we need to machine this logo on metal so no super complicated designs or detail is necessary.
