Brief de Design de Logo

A small, woman-owned business is looking for a simple, dynamic logo that speaks to our company name Community Consortium and our mission statement “Fostering Development through Empowerment”. Though our company works globally, we are driven by long-term, on-the-ground engagement with local communities. An active listening, holistic and trans-disciplinary approach defines our work in the field of cultural and landscape heritage.

Our work (at the intersection of the social and spatial) is primarily informed by the following disciplines:
Architecture, Architectural History, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Anthropology

Tentative Color Palette:
We would like the logo to be a single color. Having more than one color creates an undesired binary. Though we are open to other suggestions, we like either the color orange or blue.

Other concepts we like and why:
(We like the idea intersection and overlap – of ideas, people, activities, and places coming together). Please don't take this idea too literally.

Universally Identifiable, but NOT with a corporate feel:
(We would prefer a logo that is an image, but are open to it including letters.) It should be understandable to other cultures.

Simple and Elegant:
(not overly complicated; doesn’t become a blur when printed small; displays clearly in black and white)
