Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company called 'UnifiApp' which is launching a smartphone app by the same name. The product provides free WiFi Internet access in major cities around the world by crowdsourcing a small amount of unused bandwidth from homes and offices that have WiFi. The design should communicate safety, and people coming together to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts. If it could incorporate something that looks like a WiFi signal, that would also be cool. Our initial attempt is the phyllotaxis file attached. We'd like something that looks more like:

1) the rings of a tree or a WiFi signal like these examples:

OR
2) the letters of the logo joined together in one or two continuous strokes, like:

This is what I think would make the best text design of the 'unifi' part of the name:

Please try to follow it. The one on the top left has all the letters in one stroke, but with gaps in between to help delineate new characters. The top right version has the same thing, but with dots for the "i" characters. And the one at the bottom alternates between different colors for each character, but I'd like it with the foldover effect like this image: http://www.fp7-unify.eu/files/fp7-unify-eu-docs/landingPage/unify_circle.png

The letters should be beveled to give a slight '3D' effect.

Please add the design above, with the text 'UnifiApp' or 'unifiapp' below. "Unifi" should be one color, and "App" another. The final design should be delivered as an SVG/PNG file with a transparent background.
