Brief de Design de Logo

Hi There - I need a new logo design for an existing company based in Scotland called PacketWize Ltd.
The business is primarily for IT Technology and Consulting services (including contracting) and doesn't produce any products itself.
I initially came up with the name for the business as I had intentions of becoming a Network Services Provider, so the business name was a play on words: "Packet" referring to IT network traffic - packets, and "Wize" as a play on wise and experienced heads.
I've got a very basic logo at the moment which is a character Owl sitting on top of an envelope - see attached, however it looks pretty awful and am looking for something slick and a bit more professional looking.
