Brief de Design de Logo

INTRO

"Love Roses" is a high end, chic, modern, friendly online florist that only sells roses. We are preparing to launch our website and our brand and we need some clever designers to come up with an iconic logo for our brand.

We are looking for a logo that is something like a seal of authenticity. This logo will be used on boxes of roses and our various other products.

Love Roses helps people ensure that their girlfriends, wives and loved ones know that they are loved and appreciated. Whether the intended gift is for a loved one or just to indulge a friend, Love Roses qualified florists ensure the highest quality roses and presentation. All of our products are boxed, grade A, long stem roses. Use Love Roses for all your special occasions, including birthday gifts, Anniversary Flowers, Wedding Flowers, Valentines Day gifts, Mother's Day gifts or just to say I love you.

Love Roses products are simple - we only have four options:
Single red rose (boxed or unboxed)
6 red roses (boxed or unboxed)
12 red roses + chocolates (boxed)
24 red roses + chocolates (boxed)

MARKET

Middle to upper class folk in Singapore. Teenagers to older business people. We intend to use classy advertising like high end cosmetic companies.

Remember that's its guys that tend to buy roses, so the logo has to be somewhat attractive to them, but then their ladies must love it!

LOGO INFLUENCES:

We are currently wanting to explore two separate options:

1. The body shop logo (see images attached). As you will see the almost flower like symbol is very iconic and simple. We really like this logo and would like to see a something developed from this / influenced from this. We really like this idea. Simple and like a seal of quality. We can imagine something like this stamped on our boxes.

2. The glade logo - alternatively we would like to see a logo that is simple and chic like the glade writing, but with a basic graphic element.

3. We alSo we really like the Marie Claire logo. The font is very high end but friendly.

WHAT WE DON'T WANT

Overly flowery romantic, swirly rose filled logos. Nothing to decadent or cliche.

COLOUR

Please don't put the font in red. Please keep it black, or a dark green (like the body-shop logo). Or a light modern pink colour. We want to avoid the typical 'Roses' company look.

Incorporate a basic Rose element / symbolism, but without being too literal.
