Brief de Design Illustration

Building the Future is an annual event that gathers suppliers, clients and employees of Grainger Mexico, a major competitor in the Maintenance, Repairing and Operation business (MRO). Clients include major mexican corporations and middle sized manufacturers. Please check our website to understand our business: www.grainger.com.mx

The idea behind the Building the Future concept, is that our company alongside with suppliers and clients are contributing for mutual growth. Together we are building the future.

This is the third time the concept is being used, please check the previous illustrations for past events attached to this brief. Grainger is identified for delivering the product in white, black and red boxes that must be used as basis for the illustration.

Last year we used a tunnel made out of Grainger boxes. The purpose was to convey the idea that going into the tunnel would take us to the future. Now we are thinking that the new concept should communicate in a way that we are out of that tunnel but continue to march on to the future.

We want to communicate also pride and belonging to a great company, and that you are excited to participate in a big, big event. Suppliers and clients should feel themselves as being part of a great family.

Illustration should be astonishing and be a natural continuation of the previous two illustration for past events. The use of boxes, glows, infinite space, and dynamism must be kept but you could introduce new elements.
