Brief de Design de Logo

I require a logo for a boutique Interior decorating & styling business based in Sydney. This is an existing business that is undergoing a brand change and eventually a website launch and this logo design is part of the process.

My brand style is contemporary with a stylish edge & a bit of "quirk" and I need the logo to reflect this.

The business name is based on my family name "North", hence the compass reference, but I don't want a blatant image of a compass incorporated.

The logo is to be easily adapted into either horizontal or stacked format for letterheads and other applications.

My business is creative and focuses on.......interiors, styling & colour design (this text could appear on a business card).

My client base is predominately residential so I don't want to logo to look too contemporary corporate. My clients are mainly professionals with families who have the budget to spend on a service such as this.

I create interior spaces that have a personal feel to the client with an individual elements with a point of difference.

This business also provides property styling & colour design.

There are many interior decorators within my area and and new businesses popping up so I need this to be premium feel yet comfortable for clients to approach.
