Brief de Design de Logo

Logo Design Brief

Colours

The name Lester & Darnie is a derivative of my children’s names, a boy and a girl so I would like to incorporate teal and fuchsia to subtly represent them. I would like the font ‘Lester & Darnie’ in either black or white. I also like grey incorporated in business logos. I have attached a logo example that I like.

Values & Principles

Some of my products will be environmentally, organic and fair-trade conscious products. I want to support local (Australian) designers and handmade products. Other products stocked may not fit this description but will be of high quality, be functional and safe for children.

Logo Dislikes

I don’t want a graphic on my logo just the title and colours mentioned. I would consider an L&D hologram in the background in one of the drafts if possible


Logo Uses

The logo will be used for all SM pages, website, stationary, packaging and maybe clothing tags in the future so it needs to be useable in all these scenarios.

Target Market

My target market for my business is the 25-40 age group. Med – High end female customers (mainly) shopping for maternity clothes, clothes for their own children or gifts for others.

Product Range

My product range will be extensive so my logo needs to not limit me or pigeon hole me in anyway. The products range from children’s clothing and accessories, nursery décor, toys through to soft furnishings, homewares and textiles. Most of my product range will be environmentally friendly, non-toxic and support children with sensitive skin and / or with allergies or other skin conditions. There will be other products that don’t fit this brief so again I want the feeling of an earth conscious logo but not have this too obvious that it restricts my product supply.

Look & Feel

In addition to an earthy under tone I would like my logo to depict that quality products are stocked in my business. It has to be clean, classy and crisp. I have a significant growth strategy so I would like it to be simple so it is recognisable
Instantly within the online space but can also grow if I was to start a bricks & mortar store.
