Brief de Design Illustration

We need a dozen of illustrations for movie genres for an online video store.

The dimensions for the images is 650 x 240.
The images will be placed on a dark background.

The images should be a mixture of some unique font displaying the 'attitude' of the genre, with complementing background image.

An example for "Kids"
a colourful balloon background with a childish font.
An example for "Science Fiction"
a starscape background with some futuristic font.


The categories are as below, the text in quotes is the danish text and should be the text shown in the illustrations, the preceding translations are added for your convenience:

important, these images will be presented on a TV, please avoid using large white areas, and make sure the white you use is #f1f1f1 instead of #fff.

There are two designs right now, both of them are way too noisy, there are way too many elements, and the backgrounds are crowded, please simplify things, this is for a scandinavian audience, simplicity is key (think ikea).
