By the time all fees are taken out that ends up to be about $125.00. A lot of work.

I'm looking for a drawing of the character provided to see if you can capture His playful character. I feel that $125 for a single drawing is quite reasonable. I have 2 illustrators who currently charge me $55 for a full colour drawing, not just asketch. I think you may have misunderstood that this price was for me to find the illustrator and not for any book illustrations as yet.

Yes. I want you to look at the drawing of the character I provided and for the artist to draw him in a picture. I want to see if the artist can capture his fun loving personality. I want the artist to create a scene that shows the gator suprised or having fun. I am leaving it up to the artist (you) to decide what that scene is.

I went to your website and you do not have any illustrations for me to see what your experience is. Ii cannot guarantee payment when I don't know your style. This is the entire reason I'm using Design Crowd. I want to see if someone can capture his personality in a simple sketch then use that person to illustrate my books. I can't guarantee payment until I see some work. Maybe you can post some of your illustrations on your website to give me an idea of your style?

It would be nice to see the character reacting to something. If he's happy maybe he won a medal. If he's excited maybe he's in a roller coaster. If he's laughing maybe he's pointing at something funny. It can be your choice but it would be nice to see what is causing the emotion.

Mr Snappy likes to travel in odd modes of transportation. A raft with an outboard motor, a motorcycle and side car. a parachute with a propeller strapped to his back, an old ferry boat, etc.
