Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for my southern Sydney based architectural design and drafting business. The business is well established locally providing building designs, plan drawings and documentation for planning approval. The majority of current projects are house extensions and renovations however I am now being commissioned more 'higher end' new residential dwellings and developments. I require a logo that reflects my unique design capabilities which tend to be contemporary, balanced, often using hard straight lines and sharp contrast. The logo should be a prominent 'symbol' and easily recognizable on a building site sign and on the title block of a drawing sheet. It should show class in a technical way and not look out of place on the side of a prestige car or boat. The logo design could play on my surname "NEATE" or "N" and show that my specialty is providing building design solutions and often solving my client's 'puzzles".
