Brief de Design de Logo
we need a new logo designed for our company based in Sydney Australia .
We would like to have a symbol that can be used separately also.
colours - main colours sky blue fading into an electric blue - 2ndry colours silver - greys - charcoal.( colours to be illuminated )
We like 3D , shading & an outline / shadows .
We want the logo to easily represent what we do , ie an option using / incorporate the arm & bucket of an excavator or the machine itself - we run caterpillar 329DL machines so it is important for the image to be the correct sizing - proportions as the actual machine .
we like all upper case for the name .
we are not that creative so hoping to see some flair & creativity :)

Logo lettering MUST have different types or shades of blue that are BRIGHT to give the lettering a 3D effect. If an excavator or part of an excavator (arm or bucket) is used in the design it must be reflective of our equipment (Caterpillar 329DL) & NOT to look like a child's drawing. It is extremely important to us that CREATIVE FLAIR is shown in the design & those who produce this will be strongly considered. Thanks.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Due to our company completing a large project last week, we haven't had the ability to review the designs thoroughly or give the designers the appropriate feed back.
We will be meeting tomorrow to review all designs with feed back then being sent to each designer.
Preliminary feed back would be that the designers who are creative in the " icon" part of the logo will be strongly considered. As suggested previously we are based in Sydney & believe The Sydney Harbour Bridge or part of the Bridge could be used in the logo design as long as it is very subtle - background shadow, an outline of part of the bridge. The excavator arm &/or bucket is to be more prominent than the bridge.
Thank you to all who have submitted designs we are excited to see what eventuates this week with further potential Business Card design to follow.

Reason: We need a few more days to receive some updated designs as we are very close to making a decision . Many designers have provided an icon which sits next to our business name , which we really like the idea of having so we can use it as a 2nd mark to our actual business name .
