Brief de Design de Logo

New Millennium Tours is a travel agency specializing in global luxury travel. We currently specialize in Tahiti and are expanding the locations we sell. We are in the process of launching a second website that will house the "rest of the world" besides Tahiti. We are looking for a graphic/logo designer to help us create our logo for this website/new brand, as well as a favicon for the website.

We would like the logo to meet the following requirements:

• It must look good at any size, 40x40, 100x100, 200x200 etc. It must look good on a business card.
• At this time, we are looking for the designer to create the emblem ONLY. The words containing our company name will be added after the emblem has been designed and approved. We are looking to see variations on the emblem, not the same emblem with multiple font variations.
• There will be three "flavors" of the logo: The emblem, The emblem + Title (New Millennium Tours), and the emblem + Title (New Millennium Tours) + tagline (Ex. "We're #1). The latter will be used on the website. We need the emblem to look good in each "flavor."
• The emblem needs to convey tropical luxury and romance. We are looking for a SIMPLE, clean, elegant design.
• The main logo will be 460x79. Emblem should look good at 79 pixels high and 39 pixels high.
• No more than 3 colors are to be used. Emblem will be placed on a light background. (Exact color TBD)
• We like the idea of the emblem incorporating suitcases (perhaps 3 suitcases of different sizes stacked on top of each other), or flowers, but we are open to other suggestions.

To be absolutely clear, I do NOT want palm trees, a crown, five stars, or sunsets in the design.

Job Description:

We are looking for you to create examples of an emblem that meets the above criteria. Once that has been approved, we will want you to create additional variations, which incorporate the title and tagline.
