Brief de Design 3D

We need a new concept car design to progress. The car is a full electric vehicle. It is also a lxury, full sized family sedan.

It needs to be futuristic, but not too futuristic. We want people today to feel keen to buy the car, to feel important, and also for the car to clearly sell its electric vehicle status. The front of the car needs to be impressive and have good presence. The rear of the car needs to convey a similar message. As the car is full electric, it does not need ventilation at the front grille. This means the options for the front grille area are much greater.

You can submit any number of exterior car designs and/or any number of variations on designs. We are looking for a car design that would have financially affluent families keen to buy. Not just electric vehicle enthusiasts. We want the design to go head to head (and beat) a BMW, Audi or Mercedes family sedan.

The car size can be anywhere from a BMW 5 series to a BMW 7 series. Due to the difference in the car components, the car will almost definitely have 2 storage areas (the trunk and the hood will both have storage space). Additionally, any interior design will also be welcome. Interior would need to be luxurious, with high level technology (e.g. the dashboard would be fully digital). Finally, the interior would utilise renewable materials where possible.

Some great designs include the Aston Martin, Jaguar XJS, Rolls Royce Phantom, Bugatti and BMW concept cars, but any design that can meet an affluent family of the future, with a technology flair will be highly regarded.

IMPORTANT Note: All designs must be original and ownership of the design cannot reside with another auto manufacturer - these designs cannot be publicly available. Additionally, submission in this competition is also approval for Sequence EV to utilise this design exclusively for any purposes it requires. For any clarification, please contact Sequence EV.
