Brief de Web Design

To develop a web based Council Meeting Support system which includes 2 major components for each Council member:

1. Allow a council member to Vote on a motion during a council session
2. Allow a council member to flag notify the Chair their intention to speak on a motion

The application will have 3 separate interfaces:

Chair interface: Allows the Chair of the session to review voting and manage the speaker queue

Council interface: Allows each council member to vote on each motion and add flag their intention to speak for or against a motion

Admin interface: Allows administrators to initiate a session and import details on all meeting participants

We will begin by designing the Council Interface. (An example wireframe is attached) This council interface will give members the ability to request to speak, vote, view voting results and viewing the current motion number.

*** 4 Designs will be required overall. One for each interface and a login page ***

Needs to be designed so that it works well on an Ipad or any tablet device.

Update: Looking for a brighter design, not a dark grey one. The blue colour from peo.on.ca would be good.
