Brief de Design de Logo

We need to modernize our church logo to better serve a variety of communications purposes.

In the olden days, our logo was created for letterhead. That was it. We the explosion of desktop publishing and the Web, now we have new requirements...website, church bulletins, posters, fliers. Various volunteers are "helping" to create these materials, and taking their own creative leaps with the logo...placement of our name, the address block, font style, "stretching" the logo. As a result, we look a little scruffy.

Our church website is www.togetherweserve.org. We are a traditional yet progressive church in Marin County, CA.

I am the volunteer communications director. My goal is to "update" the logo while retaining the familiar silhouette of Mt. Tamalpais, a view that can be seen within steps our our front door. I would also like the design package to include a version with and without address and tagline, in both stacked and horizontal versions, and in .jpegs that can be used easily by non-creatives in creating flawless church-related materials. I would also like to maintain the Optima font to tie into the permanent lettering on our church plant.
