Brief de Design de Logo

I am a British Female Voice Over Artist in need of a logo design that will be used on all promotional mediums: website, business cards, communications, social media etc.

I provide a wide range of types of voice overs for example: commercials, promotional videos, corporate narration/presentations, e-learning, phone systems etc.

I mainly record from home - with my own studio set up but also go to recording studios as required.

My clients are worldwide but the 'British Voice' message however is a selling point (particularly to the non-British market who love a British voice).

My service is therefore my voice!

• I'd like the design to be simple yet eye catching - there is stiff competition in the VO industry so something that stands out from the crowd.
  
  I think it needs to be 'clean' looking to portray the quality in audio recordings I do but the VO industry is part of the arts/media industry so needs to not look too 'corporate'.
  
  I'm sure it's something you hear all the time but I can't visualize something so I'm totally open to a range of designs to look at. That's why I'm looking to the artistic talent out there to come up with something - you know when you see it type thing!
  
  I think it probably needs something visual to go with the Mel's British Voice text (an abstract logo).

• A few pointers that may help?:
  
  We talk in the industry about bringing words to life/lifting them off the page.
  
  My instrument is my voice!
  
  It's providing the vocal to the visual - whatever the medium
  
  Lots of people have Microphones as part of their logo - not sure about this as so many have them - unless of course it looks really contemporary - so I'm not totally against it - so if you have a cool idea involving a Mic then go for it!
  
  Similar to Mics you often see sound waves? I have the same opinion on this as Mic's above.
  
  Also, I'm not sure whether using the Union Jack colours/pattern somehow would emphasis the British or just look naff?! Again, open to suggestions!
