Brief de Web Design

The project is to design the single landing page of our new website. Detailed instructions are included in the attachment. Below is a general description of the new website already in progress:

We sell a custom logo animation service to our DJs and bands. Customers choose the templates they want us to use and upload their own logo(s) during the checkout process. When the videos are ready, users are notified and can log-in to download them.

This Design Crowd project requires design of the landing page only. I am including 3 referenced styles we are interested in so you are not starting out blindly. Our market is very design-sensitive and the landing page must communicate that we are a "for live musicians" company - with a design that reflects the electronic dance music and club industries.

Excellent color balance. Solid yet subtle loader animation. This is what we used in the example mock-up attached. The icon buttons are very nice style or us keeping a clean and bold look while leaving room for animating them on mouse actions.

Great use of neutral colors which matches with our existing motionloops.com colors well. We like the logo cut out of the "flag."

Great engaging elements. Great use of background as part of the usable space without cluttering the space. Great use of the logo in a Unique Sales Proposal (USP). Our logo works very well for this purpose and is the reason we chose it. "BEYOND" is a play on words (Ex. "Logo animation that takes your performance BEYOND all others sharing the same stage")

The winner of this contest may also be asked to design the Shopping Page and Checkout Pages as part of a separate agreement. We have many websites going up soon and are interested in finding a great designer to complement our coders.

*** The icons and images in our mock-up in areas #4 and #5 should not be included in your design. They are just there for reference and make no sense in our page. Do not use a laptop or PDA device icons as part of this design - they are only there as placeholders. The majority of the work for this design is in the creation unique icon-buttons that match the functions we describe for area #4 - not to copy the placeholders we have there. Thanks! ***
