Brief de Design de Logo

We are a nonprofit organization that provides free civil legal help to low income persons with an emphasis on homelessness prevention, domestic violence prevention and assistance in accessing health care, food and needs-based income programs. We provide services in 13 counties in south and central Michigan. We have five offices - Central Admin is in Ann Arbor and offices in Battle Creek, Jackson, Monroe and Lansing. We provide access to justice for low income individuals. LSSCM is celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2015.

We are part of a larger organization, the Michigan Advocacy Program. Until January 1, 2014, LSSCM administered 5 statewide programs. We developed MAP and divided the organization into two components - the direct service component and the statewide advocacy program. LSSCM is the direct service component. I am also submitting a request for a logo design for MAP in a separate project request.

We would like a logo that inspires hope for families and individuals. When low income families come to us they are facing severe legal emergencies and we are their only option for help. We represent tenants and homeowners facing a loss of their home. We help domestic violence survivors get out of abusive situations and get custody of their kids. We help seniors who are scammed or being abused by their children.

We would like the logo to be something that can look nice black and white. We do not have color printers in our organization. It would be o.k. to have one or two colors for the digital image so we could put it on our website, etc. We would like to include our logo on our business cards, etc... but are not sure yet if we can afford an increased cost for color design.
