Brief de Design Icône

Need an icon for our existing logo at hungrythumb.com (impact label font). We're big fans of iconography found at sites like Hootsuite, Reddit and Hipmunk. We offer restaurant deals through mobile channels like text messaging, so the icon should look nice on an iPhone app button, for example. As a consumer-friendly business, we think our current look-and-feel is a bit cold and corporate. The way we represent ourselves on Facebook (facebook.com/hungrythumg) for example, is pretty bland. We want to be fun, but look high-tech and mobile at the same time.
Feel free to be creative, but we've tossed around ideas internally like: Facebook-like thumbs-up icon with a fork being held; to a thumbprint representation of some sort.
