Brief de Design de Logo

Intro & Background:

We're a company that supplies chromite foundry sand to the foundry industry. We procure our sand from various producers and manage all export logistics to foundries worldwide. Foundries use our product to make molds for casting molten metal into metal products. Our sand is made from chromite ore mined in South Africa and undergoes a process of crushing, milling and refining to achieve a very fine, sand-like consistency of black chromite chrystals (see attached photo).

Within the industrial supply industry, most competitors have boring logos. We would like to change that and stand out with a fresh, well-designed logo.

We essentially have two different design briefs:

1. Clean and Modern

The type of modern, simple, clean, flat design that seems to be trending at the moment similar to the DesignCloud/Crown logos, using simple yet modern typefaces, possibly the Foundry in one colour and the plus in another. The Alongside the typeface, the logo should somehow incorporate either a stockpile of fine black chomite sand, or a "big bag" (see attached image) filled to the brim with black chromite Sand to symbolise our product. The logo should incorporate the colours red, black and white. The logo may utilise the texture of black chromite foundry sand as a background.

2. Our name "FoundryPLUS" in simple modern typeface being cast into a mold of black foundry sand from a crucible of molten metal.

The logo should show a crucible pouring hot molten metal into a flat open mold made of black foundry sand, whereby the molten metal fills the void of the "FoundryPLUS" typeface indented into the sand-mold. The molten metal can either be shown as a silvery sheen (like liquid mercury) or as glowing hot (yellow to orange gradients) molten metal. We'd like to see both variations to decide what looks better. Attached are images of crucibles, molds, and of the black chromite sand. The characters in the typeface may need to be connected to allow for the molten metal to flows through all the characters. The logo may either be flat or in 3D.
