Brief de Design Graphique

This project will be to create motion design concepts that will eventually be transformed into a short 1-2 minute video that uses text, images and other video to show off a neighborhood's houses for sale and points of interest. The design concepts should ideally be done in html5/css/javascript but any other format (flash, after effects etc...) that demonstrates the idea well will work. Any other formats are acceptable as long as the designs can be converted to html5/css/javascript. The goal is to make the text, images and videos flow well together, deliver key information effectively and be visually engaging without being animation for animation's sake, cliched or distracting. It should not in any case be mistaken for a slide show or animated power point. Create 3-5 motion design concept samples to get your style across using images and data from existing real estate sites such as Trulia, Zillow or Realtor.com. The end user will be home buyers and investors doing research on houses and neighborhoods that want to see the information in video rather than website. Think of it as an animated travel or real estate infographic that uses images, text, numbers and video to give the viewer a good sense of the area they are looking at. Elements that will be evaluated include 1) transitions from one subject area to another (e.g. from houses for sale to local parks and recreation), 2) color palette, 3) creative use of motion design, 4) display and transition of images/videos within a screen, 5) pacing of the text display, 6) fonts, 7) use of 3D transformations (Sprite3D for example), not just 2D, 8) readability of text, 9) Flow of elements, 10) Overall visual impact, 11) ability to easily implement using html/css/javascript
