Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a manufacturing company called "Mustang Machine Works, INC" based in Mustang, Oklahoma. We specialize mostly in oil field production and fabrication but our product offering extends far beyond that into other machine components and parts. We also build large skid platforms for heavy equipment used on drilling and pumping sites. The company was established in 1998.

I have made our logos in the past but have never produced one that I liked enough to put on our letterhead, business cards, shirts, signs, etc. I would like to see a design that uses black and white with possibly some accent color such as red, blue, or green BUT I am open to any design or color scheme as long as it looks good on both a black background and a white background. For our T-shirts I would like something small I can put on the front chest pocket and maybe something larger that I can put on the back of the shirt.

A few ideas I have that can be expanded on:

One that incorporates the outline of Oklahoma
One that uses the abbreviation "MMW"
One that spells out our entire company name "Mustang Machine Works"
One that incorporates oil field items (drills, rigs, pumps)

Do not limit your designs to my lame ideas, I am no good at this stuff!

Im not opposed to bordered or borderless designs or even a logo with a crest or shield. I don't mind our location being on the design either. Again, I am open to any kind of design that a more creative mind than mine can come up with. Surprise me.

THINGS I DO NOT WANT:
No horses.
No cars or automotive look to the design whatsoever.
No gears.
No diamond plate or "chrome" lettering.

Marché(s) Cible(s)

The target market for a business such as mine is a very difficult thing to try and reach with advertising. But as far as this logo goes, I want something along the lines of other oil company logos. I will provide some examples as attachments
