Brief de Design de Logo
Hi,
We need a new logo for a brand new (invite only) social networking site called www.thedownlow.com
The logo should have the text, but that text should be detachable from the main image/icon so that it can be used stand-alone; much in the sameway that the facebook icon is just the f in a box, or linked in is the In in a box etc... It doesnt have to be a box but you get the idea.
The website will be very much web 3.0 (we plan on using a lot of cutting edge coding techniques - even if that means excluding those on IE 9!!).
The site itself will be a closed registration membership site. The only way to become a member is to receive an invite code.
I like clean colours/style.. nothing too strong in terms of colour. Must look good as a monochrome logo too.
If you visit www.thedownlow.com in the next day or two i will have put up a very basic "holding" page that should give you an idea of the type of style im looking for.

Hi,
Firstly, Id like to thank everyone for the submissions - ive truly found it difficult to choose a "winner" and would quite happily have chosen any one of about 4 of the designs.
The logo I have chosen, i have done so because of its capturing of the ethos of the site and believe it to represent what we are about.

Im not a fan of comic style fonts. Strong clean lines is what we are after here.
