Brief de Web Design

Hi – I need a draft created for a new corporate website for our company.
I need a graphic design concept which can be applied to a whole website layout -
I have a separate web development team who will implement the design onto Wordpress.

We are an Asian Buying Office based in Hong Kong and Shenzhen which facilitates relationships between factories in China and customers (retailers/etailers) all over the world.

We are a “boutique” agency, which offers highly customized services – we are highly consultative in our approach and tailor services to suit the needs of our customers with customized solutions. Our services are transparent partnership- and-integrity-based, and aimed to support at a certain size of company in growth mode.

We have dedicated teams of staff focused entirely on a customer’s business and we work TOGETHER with customers to solve their product design, patent, product engineering, goods production, quality control and supply chain challenges operating in 24/7 through our proprietary web-based supply chain platform called Trademaster.

I have a PowerPoint which can be used to drive:

1) creative direction (colour palette etc) and to provide basic content for each “screen.” I would like to see design options based on the PowerPoint which offer creative ways to create a new look and feel for us for a corporate website which will not be social media enabled or ecommerce enabled. We do not put ANY customer brand names direct or references on our website – relationships are private. The home page of the website should say in the design style – “product design and branded global consumer goods” as well as “professional engineering and quality control proficiency”.

The website should be clean and functional – have the “usability” of the Apple website but the “Fortune 500” look & feel of the Li & Fung website (http://www.lifung.com/eng/global/home.php) – Li & Fung is a benchmark for us. Li & Fung is the largest company in our industry doing what we do.

I do not want to COPY this example - I am offering it as a benchmark for a CLEAN, vibrant, professional site which sends a good brand and services message. The target market is a global B to B market – SMEs who are well funded and growing, brands with growth potential, or large, established brands who are looking to a) build a supply chain partner to help them grow b) increase their revenues by managing their costs c) reduce their risk through an experience buyer’s agent such as ourselves – a partner with integrity who they can trust. The web site design must say “global consumer brands” WITHOUT DIRECTLY ALLUDING TO THE LOGOS AND/OR BRAND NAMES WE WORK WITH , " full service agency – managing the process from product design and engineering, quality control and risk management to product manufacturing and shipping logistics" and “accountability/integrity/transparency within the partnership.” Designer to choose colors to be used in the design - I have also attached my logo file to allow you to select a color palette which will be complementary.
