Brief de Design de Logo
We need a smart logo design for our new foundation "The Matterhorn Foundation". Our mission is to identify and advance innovative and compassionate solutions through the support of research to improve and extend the lives of cancer patients. The story of Edward Whymper's successful summit of the Matterhorn is our inspiration. This mountain had taken more lives than any other in Europe and seemed impossible to overcome. Whymper could not be dissuaded, wondered if climbing from another direction might work. He kept at it, eventually finding a hidden "staircase" of ridges leading to the top. Success! Whymper's law - "to always look for an alternative approach". That brings us to cancer. Billions of dollars are spent but we are not winning the war on cancer. More people are diagnosed & cancer is taking more lives. The Matterhorn Foundation supports innovative cancer research and helps advance promising high impact solutions. It's time for a new approach! We need a logo that will grab attention and help us find ways to control cancer. Clean, modern, bold, optimistic & powerful are some of the characteristics we hope to portray. We're thinking of using "It's time for a new approach" as a tagline but that has not been finalized so feel free to try to use it or not.

Thank you to all of you designers who submitted design(s) for The Matterhorn Foundation. The work is outstanding and there were numerous designs that we loved. Of course we had to narrow it down and are now finalizing our decision with our 3 finalists. We'll be in touch to announce the winner very soon.
