I have received several designs that include tall building silhouettes. Our community does not have tall buildings so that concept does not match. Most of our buildings are 2-3 stories tall. The tallest one is 6 stories. Also, I would like to emphasize that we have a very diverse community that is why we are looking for a logo that reflects this diversity (bright colors, patterns, etc.)

The best designs to date are simple and colorful concepts with an image and text. Although I have received single color designs that are good, it is not the image we are trying to portray. And, although we are a business association, we do not want a "corporate" look. We want to portray a vibrant, diverse business district with stores and restaurants that serve many types of food from all over the world.

As we are reviewing the submitted designs, we are realizing that we may want a logo that just says: City Heights. With the tagline: San Diego's International Marketplace.

If possible, please update your designs.
