Brief de Design de Logo
We have developed an innovative take on personal financial management called Personomics.
Our goal is to help people make wiser financial decisions that are consistent with their hopes for a better life, not just in the distant future, but in the near future as well. We do this through cutting edge behavioral economics and technology platforms.
We would like a logo that is consistent with our values, specifically the idea that you can make good financial decisions by starting with your personal values and what's most important to you.
We are bringing Personomics to market through a variety of online tools, including a website, web app and iPhone/Android applications.
We need a dynamic logo that can be used across these platforms as well as on any printed materials that we produce (worksheets, brochures, etc).
The logo should reflect our philosophy of empowerment and the ability to make smart financial choices. We want to be seen by our users are optimistic and encouraging and as a trusted partner in their financial lives.
For example, unlike many personal financial management apps, Personomics does not focus on budgeting and spending restrictions. Rather, it makes it fun to save so you can freely spend on what you truly want.
It provides you with:
1) a way to build a personal wish list of things (at all price levels) that you really want and the ability to access it at any time on your smartphone.
2) the motivation and means to act quickly on an impulse to save for something that you really want.
3) A way to track progress towards multiple savings goals.

Doit avoir
- The design must focus on the word "Personomics", but otherwise we would like to see your visual interpretation of our philosophy as described above.
We would like some sort of visual representation of the core Personomics idea - that you can make good financial choices by consulting your core personal values (i.e. what you value most).
Bien d'avoir
- We need the logo to look nice in a variety of formats, so we'd like it to have a transparent background.
Our preferred color scheme reflects a bright, optimistic outlook. We like "neon pastel" colors such as this blue (#0192A5), green (#7FC200) and orange (#FF9A00).
We like logos that include graphics within or next to the name (either replacing a letter or complimenting the word).
Some examples of logos that we like include:
Rainfall (http://maxcdn.thedesigninspiration.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/rainfall-l.jpg) - This simple, clean design really pops off the page. The icon after the word also provides something that would be easy to use as a favicon or App icon.
Unreel (http://maxcdn.thedesigninspiration.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/jnreel-l.jpg) - The treatment of the U is very appealing, as it instantly gives the reader information about the company while still being easy to read.
Decoflora (http://maxcdn.thedesigninspiration.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/decoflora-l.jpg) - Again, the logo is very readable but has nice design flourishes that help explain the company.
PlayGround (http://maxcdn.thedesigninspiration.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/playground-l.jpg) - We love the slide that connects the "y" and "G". It's a great example of fitting a graphical element right into the word.
WritingWand (http://maxcdn.thedesigninspiration.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/writingwand-l.jpg) - This logo is very simple with a nice, modern font and a symbolic flourish on the middle "i". Very clean and helpful.
Ne doit pas comporter
- We do not want any dollar signs in the logo. While this is based on personal finance, it's about more than just dollars and cents, and we do not want money to be the focus.
The design should use modern, sans-serif fonts, so no serif/formal fonts.
We want the design to look good in a variety of formats and locations, so please no gradients or other intricate elements that would not resize well.
