Brief de Design de Logo

"Saigon's Lookout" (SL) is a hip/trendy/bar/night club destination.

SL is actually the expansion to an existing bar named TED'S LOOKOUT (TL) in Hong Kong. It was called TL as it is tucked away in an alley at the very end people are looking out onto the street through the bar windows.

However, SL, as the name implies, is located in Saigon also known as Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. SL is located in the prime district but slightly more in a hidden area. It is an old French colonial villa with three different floors. Each floor will have a different concept which are absolutely different to each other. Bar, Restaurant and lounge/night club. So it is a destination as compared to TL which is purely a bar only. In the case of SL people are going there to check it each out, see and to be seen, ie Looking Out for each other. The venue has old tiles, high ceiling. It has a lot of charm from the old days from the French occupation.

The logo should imply that this is a destination (bar, restaurant, chill and club), is an old colonial french mansion and is Saigon based and pompous, high-end, trendy and old school (as in old colonial). The Vietnamese country flag is red with a yellow star. Don't know how, but would be great to have that maybe somehow incorporated.

We envision the logo to have SL with the wording Saigon's Lookout underneath.

SL logo can then be easily printed on coasters, uniforms, napkins etc.
