We need a logo design for a new financial planning conversationprocess that creates tax and other planning opportunities that our wealthy clients were unaware of before having an indepth conversation with us. The concept is this. When our clients are aware they have a problem or an opportunity, they reach out to a professional (lawyer, CPA, financial advisor etc.) and that advisor solves their problem and sends them a bill. We call this type of professional the Reactive Expert.
The issue here is that there are many more Ideas and Opportunties that can be uncovered if the client works with a professional that has a questioning process that uncovers Ideas and Opportunities. We call this professional the Proactive Advisor.
We have approximately 100 Ideas and Opportunities (Most of them tax savings related) that we can uncover by being Proactive Advisors. Sometimes the opportunities are tax savings in the millions of dollars.
People sometimes ask "why doesnt their CPA or lawyer uncover these great ideas for the clients?" It is not only because they like to be Experts such that the problem is brought to them and they can solve it, but also because there are many other barriers to this type of communication. For example, (1) many clients have no interest in paying a lawyer by the hour to engage in the long conversations necessary to uncover the Idea or Opportunity or solve the problem. (2)CPAs are unskilled at asking questions or have no process for doing so. Rather, their skill set is, again, having a tax opportunity PRESENTED to them, so they can (reactively) research the answer. These are just two of the barriers to uncovering Ideas andOpportunities
