Brief de Design de Logo

The Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS) is bidding to host an International Geotechnical Conference in Australia in 2021. The conference is called ICSMGE 2021 (International Conference for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineers).

We launched a bid to host the same conference here in 2017 but were unsuccessful. I have provided a link to the previous bid information below including our logo and bid documents.

The new logo should be vibrant and contemporary but have an obvious Australian theme. Colours that reflect either our sunburnt country (earthy) or coastal treasures (blues/greens) should be used. Iconic Australian symbols such as the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge are also encouraged (although we would like it to look different to the previous logo).

The words should be : Australia for ICSMGE 2021.

Thanks all for the designs submitted so far. All designs will be submitted to our Conference Committee for consideration and a decision will be made within a few days of the project closing.
