Brief de Design de Logo

I am an acupuncturist, starting my new practice "Awakened Alignment Acupuncture." My practice is a boutique private practice, located in (and catering to) a downtown luxury/chic market in SoHo, NYC. I chose the name Awakened Alignment to reflect many of the core notions and associations behind those terms: "Awakened" refers to 1) the awakening of the body to better health; 2) the awakening of the points that occurs when they are needled; and 3) on a profound level, an awakening of our higher consciousness (which is facilitated when the body-mind-and spirit are integrated, in this case, through acupuncture). "Alignment" in its most physical sense reflects the alignment of the physical structures of the body; but on a more profound level, reflects the alignment of body-mind-and spirit in one unified whole of health, and 3) the alignment of our body-mind-spirit to a higher consciousness.

I am looking for a logo that contains text and a graphic. Some images that come to mind for me are a sun, a sunflower, orchid, or any other type of flower that has elements of reaching/alignment toward the sun/light. These are just thoughts that I had and are not required to be included in the design. I DO NOT want images of needles or chinese characters (or anything Asian-themed) in the logo!! I imagine I would like something more outlined / stylized rather than photo-realistic. Color palette limited and likely muted. I do not want a corporate feel (bold colors, blocky/geometric aesthetic). Looking for something elegant & chic.
