Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo to represent a behavioral treatment for adolescent depression (a form of psychotherapy or “talk” therapy). Our program is called the Adolescent Behavioral Activation Program (ABAP). We have developed and done some initial testing of this approach within a clinical program at the Seattle Children’s Hospital and University of Washington. We do not need to represent either institution in the logo. We have a contract to publish our treatment manual and would like to put a logo on some if not all of our handouts and teaching guides, as well as use this for professional presentations and communications. The book will be published in black and white but we would like a logo with some color for our developing website, presentations and other materials. In terms of color we prefer a bright color (e.g. red, bright blue) and of course one that will still look good when depicted in black and white.

The logo should clearly represent the intervention’s focus on interrupting the downward spiral of depression through the use of increasing activity. The logo should represent our focus on positive mental health. This would more likely be depicted with an abstract representation rather than an identifiable image, but we are open to ideas. A combination of the program’s initials (ABAP) coupled with the program’s name (Adolescent Behavioral Activation Program) in smaller print might be one possibility.
