Brief de Design de Couverture de Livre

I have two sci fi novels that i have published and a third on the way. I created the book covers myself and want something a bit more re eyecatching for the novels. The novels can be seen here www.scifibookshop.co.nz along with a brief synopsis. Note that I am also upgrading my website so want the new designs for the website.
Note that i am expecting two designs based on the same theme. I will commision a third design from the design competiton winner when the thrird novel is ready to go. The design will be used for ebook and hard cover products.

The novels themselves deal with a a farmer in New Zealand kidnapped and taken to a planet to help them develop farms- (the First Chronice) and then he returns to help them out at a later date- the secind coming. Somthing involving plants and space ships going in opposite directions would be good. Note that the space ships in the books are good old fashioned flying saucers- these novels are part satire.

I am after final designs that I can upload to Amazon and create space and also use as images on my website.

The winning designer will need to purchase the books for US$0.99
