I thought I would provide some feedback about the project so far...

The use of a lion seems to be a popular choice with quite a few designers.  There is only one or two designs so far that have made that particular choice work at the different sales.  These designers went to some effort to show how the design scales showing its use in various places on a mock up browser window.  Having said that the leading design does not contain a lion but other mapping imagery.  I personally think its going to be difficult to get the design to scale properly with an intricate design, but I could be proved wrong.  Also need to be aware of being too close to the lion on the Holden cars.

As to the technology, sorry, we cant openly describe how it works it at the moment.  I can however say thats it should archive the *stated* aims of the Australian government while being open, auditable and scalable.

As to the font work, my preference is for capitals.
