Brief de Design de Logo
My business will be an extensive travel blog as I travel the silk road and pick up unique hand made items for resale. I am traveling across as much of the silk road as an American woman can without getting nailed by a drone or interrupting a civil war. Colors should be rich and royal with reds, purples and even foiled gold. I've brainstormed and wonder about camel shape covered in a Turkish textile pattern, a sun over a winding road of fabric with the shadow of a camel, an Ikat kaftan that appears to be move. I'm open to your ideas. I'm just looking for a logo, but I will probably immediately do a business card as well depending on how quickly I can get a design. I am leaving for Istanbul on the 30th and really need to have cards for this trip.

I originally put Silk Road Less Traveled should be on the top with .com below on the right, but I think I like the way Silk Road looks in larger print with less traveled underneath for the logo. I entered my first when thinking about business cards, but the logo needs to be simpler.

Since my business tagline is "weaving common threads through uncommon destinations" and I am blogging the entire adventure and covering serious situations in a less than serious tone, I'm thinking the first design is hitting more of the feel that I wanted but couldn't describe. Whimsical but not childish. Visually stimulating but not busy. Easily adapted to cards and web.

I do not want the .com on the logo or the tag lin"e weaving common..." I just mentioned those to help you get a feel for the project.

I need to make a decision before end of business day today in order to get the cards done before I leave. I will be cutting this contest short in 4 hours. If you are working on any designs for the last minute, I will not be able to consider them.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the reds in the color wheel provided. If there are other color wheels that can be used, I'm looking for more of of a deep red not fire truck or candy apple. The font cannot be so small older people will be unable to read it.
